During my stay, I enjoyed relaxing at the firepit with amazing ocean views and felt welcomed by the warm hospitality from the owner, Kevin, who even shared a glass of wine with me. the nearby Arana Gulch Trail offered beautiful walking paths and picturesque views that made my city explorations even more special.

Despite the delicious food, a long wait for service put a damper on our dining experience. The staff seemed overwhelmed during peak hours, impacting overall satisfaction. There were charging stations available, but parking felt a bit inconvenient for such a large property. About the amenities, we appreciated the family-friendly activities, but better organization could make it smoother. It’s a charming place, but it has room for improvement.

It was just a perfect match for a short visit in Santa Cruz with high value for money. The saltwater pool was amazing and the perfect temperature for swimming. Make sure to enjoy the tacos Tuesday with live music.

The grounds are absolutely stunning, and we loved the new pool area which was perfect for relaxation. Our dining experience at The View was enjoyable, but a bit pricey at $65 for a filet. One highlight was how quickly the maintenance team fixed our clogged toilet and shower drainage issues. Overall, I would consider returning for the beautiful surroundings.
